The original construction of this early 2000’s production home emphasized size over style and quality. Although it seemed like a great space when they bought the home, the owners soon realized that the heat and sound in their two-story great room was getting sucked up to the second level, making it feel echoey and cold. They also did not love the stone veneer and builder-grade cabinetry that were the focal points of the room. TreHus filled in the ceiling, splitting the great room into two levels, giving them a bedroom above, and a more intimate space below. Custom cabinets and a modern fireplace complete the room’s transformation.
