  • <p>This space was used as an office before the remodel, but it felt a little cramped. TreHus removed the walls on two sides of the room, opening it to the stairway and hall. The room bigger because it gained the space occupied by the walls, but more importantly, it feels bigger and more open. A long, dark-stained alder desk and bookshelves provide work room for two.</p>
  • <p>Prior to the remodel, the attic space was used as storage. Old carpet was torn up, revealing hardwood floors, new millwork was installed, and walls and ceilings were repaired and refreshed. Now it is a beautiful and welcoming guest bedroom.</p>
  • <p>Prior to being remodeled, this basement was used as storage. TreHus refinished the hardwood floors and added built-in alder cabinets, a new entertainment area, improved lighting and in-ceiling speakers.</p>
  • <p>This little wine nook used to be a storage closet. Opening up the entryway connected it to the rest of the newly remodeled basement, then it was just a matter of adding lighting, tile, millwork and shelves for wine storage. It has a 140 bottle capacity, plus a shelf for tasting and storage for books, beer or extra cases of wine.</p>

This attractive Tudor has enjoyed its scenic location since 1930. After 80 years, modern-day elegance and conveniences were welcomed with an addition created in perfect harmony with the existing style. The new kitchen with custom cabinets, beamed ceiling, and plenty of counter and island space, is equally suited for those who love to cook, or just gather in a bright, welcoming environment. A door leading off the kitchen opens onto a new deck, giving the homeowner exceptional views, and an ideal space for outdoor entertaining.
