Blue and Black Master Bath

  • <p>These clients wanted to combine a tiny office and a cramped full bath to make a spacious master suite fit for a king. Now, this vast bathroom has traditional and modern elements that create a mood that is tranquil with plenty of natural light.</p>
  • <p>Wanting to maximize natural light an additional window was added above the soaking tub. Because the tub is positioned right below the window, ample light flows in while still providing privacy.</p>
  • <p>The large walk-in shower doors have a floor-to-ceiling frameless design, creating the sense of space. Rich navy walls emphasize the white shower tiles and large soaking tub. The brick chimney flue was exposed to bring the character and warmth of the house into the new space.</p>
  • <p>The Viscon white granite countertop adds a subtle texture to the purchased vanity and contrasts beautifully with the dark walls and black hexagon floor tile.</p>
  • <p>Textured contemporary wall tile adds pattern and creates an elegant look in the walk-in shower.</p>
