Copper and Creative

  • <p>Prior to the renovation, the existing kitchen and dining room were poorly designed and rarely used by the homeowners. To create a more functional space, the dividing wall between the two rooms was removed to create the bold new kitchen that is now the center of the attention.</p>
  • <p>A 17-foot island was designed to act as a buffet to entertain guests with ease. A cocktail table at the end was adorned with custom-made, metal legs and a durable butcher block top, beautifully lit by a copper chandelier.</p>
  • <p>Traditional styles with a modern twist include complements of neutral whites, greys and beige spaces.  The copper, black, and varied texture allow your eye to be carried throughout the space.</p>
  • <p>A floor-to-ceiling window was added for natural light and a dramatic connection to the outdoors.</p>
  • <p>The contrast of the light fixtures against the grey tile, neutral cabinets, and wooden hood create a shimmering point of interest.</p>
  • <p>The bar is framed with distressed barn doors that can slide open and closed to provide hidden spaces for access to the pantry, microwave, and freezer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
