Growing up in rural Pine County, most of the homes Hans knew were aging cabins or simple farmhouses.  So when he moved to Minneapolis as a teenager he was awestruck by the architectural magnificence of the homes.  After earning a BFA from Emerson College, Hans worked for eight years at a small design/build company in Minneapolis before coming to TreHus.

During his free time, Hans has been hard at work remodeling his own home in Southwest Minneapolis.
