Dave was born in Minnesota, spent his childhood in Colorado, and now lives in South Minneapolis with his wife and two kids. When not at work, he is usually outdoors gardening, mountain biking, hunting, or exploring local parks and trails. Dave is also an avid fly fisher and fly tyer.

 

With 25 years of experience as a carpenter, Dave began his career in the landscape industry, studying landscape design and construction at Hennepin Technical College. He owned and operated a small business for 10 years, specializing in architectural deck, fence, and pergola construction. Throughout his career in the Twin Cities, Dave has been fortunate to work with many talented builders and architects, and he is thankful for all that he has learned through those experiences. His more recent work has allowed him to focus his craft on interior millwork, cabinet installations, and finish work. Additionally, Dave builds furniture and wood art with an emphasis on the use of reclaimed materials.
