During high school, Nghia always loved taking woodshop classes, creating numerous art and picture frames, and mastering the use of various tools. Inspired by HGTV, particularly his favorite show, Property Brothers, Nghia’s interest in building homes grew. Learning that his older cousin and his best friend were foremen for a framing business, he decided to join in 2016. Working for Carpentry Contractor Company (CCC), he contributed to building at least 10 single-family homes annually and eventually earned the title of lead carpenter before moving on in 2019. Joining Twin Cities Framers for commercial framing, Nghia steadily progressed to become lead quality control (inside punch lead) with the journeymen title. Nghia has now joined the TreHus team, thanks to a friend’s and current employee’s recommendation.
His passion for custom homes and finish work quickly became evident as he appreciated the artistry and beauty involved in creating someone’s forever home. Carpentry has evolved into more than just a career for Nghia; it has become a hobby he loves. Nghia takes immense pride in contributing to constructing homes meant to last centuries for families to enjoy.
In his free time, Nghia can be found cooking, going to the gym, and enjoying the outdoors. Grilling and long dinners with friends and family, accompanied by conversations and outdoor activities like cornhole and bonfires, would be the ideal weekend night for him. He also enjoys fishing and leisurely walks with his dog.
